2 OUR LEGAL BASIS FOR COLLECTING YOUR PERSONAL DATA
Drakes collects and processes your personal data only when necessary to facilitate the opening or using of a trading account, completing a transaction or registering for or involving yourself in any promotional or marketing activity.
3 OBTAINING PERMISSION
It is Company policy that we will not use, retain or share personal data gathered for the purpose of managing trade accounts or making sales. Customers and private individuals, who wish to receive marketing emails or other similar contact, unrelated to their trade account, must opt in to do so.
4 WHAT IS PERSONAL DATA?
Personal data is any information which personally identifies you. This might include your name, address or email address. We may also ask for your name, date of birth or telephone details when processing orders. The information we collect about you and your dealings with us will be processed in accordance with this policy.
5 OPTING NOT TO RECEIVE MARKETING EMAIL COMMUNICATIONS
We take great care to send marketing emails that are relevant and beneficial to our customers. The kind of content we send includes free gifts, competitions, industry news, product offers and time-limited deals. However, if you wish not to receive marketing emails we've made unsubscribing very easy.
Every email features an unsubscribe link at the bottom, clicking on this link will allow you to unsubscribe from future emails.
You can also email us at email@example.com with the word 'Unsubscribe' in the subject field, or you can speak to the team at your local branch and make your request in person where we'll be glad to take your details.
6 REQUESTS FOR ACCESS TO DATA
Customers who wish to see the data we held on them may do so by making a formal request via email to Pat Bonner: at firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling her directly on 01892 559917.
Paper copies of data will be provided within 28 days at no charge. Additional copies of data may be charged for at a rate commensurate with the task involved. Any requests for rectification or deletion of data will be complied with providing that, to do so, would not be contrary to any other regulations eg. Vat or HMRC.
