Marketing Executive

If this is you, then why don’t you consider us, Drakes Plumbing Supplies, a company that has been providing plumbing supplies to the building industry and trade and retail customers for over 40 years. We are currently looking for a Marketing Executive who can promote the company through our website and a number of different social platforms, as well as producing catalogues, leaflets and posters for our branches. The Role will be supporting and working closely with the Management Team and our 7 Branches in Kent and Sussex. There’s a lot to do, but then, there are a lot of sales out there that we want in here!

You’ll be

  • Supporting the marketing strategy of the business to generate quality leads.
  • Defining and implementing marketing action points, analysing campaign effectiveness, and creating successful campaigns for use within the marketing strategy.
  • Maintaining a social media presence including content creation.
  • Producing marketing collateral including posters, leaflets, and flyers.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading copy for promotional materials within marketing campaigns, new webpages and email marketing/newsletters in keeping with marketing strategy.
  • Assisting internal sales teams to create content that will assist them in converting leads.
  • Reporting to the Management Team on a monthly basis and attending meetings when requested.
  • And anything else we can think of as the business is constantly shifting and moving.

If you’ve read this far, then what do we want from you?

The MUST HAVES:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing or Business Administration, as well as formal e-Commerce qualifications. Technical and/or website design and optimization qualifications are also highly desirable.
  • Experience in Magento e-Commerce (preferably Magento 2) & PIM.
  • A successful track record of running, launching and optimising e-Commerce platforms.
  • Project management experience.

The DESIRABLES

  • Content skills both product, copy, content and media.
  • PHP, Photoshop and other design tools
  • Experience working in the plumbing materials sector

THE DEAL BREAKERS

  • You must be self-motivated, have a strong desire to improve the customer experience and are results driven.
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess excellent data analysis skills, including Excel and MS Office mastery, and be able to deal with complex and multiple source data, build insights and prioritise activities based on available data.
  • Have a strong understanding of sales, marketing, logistics and operational processes.
  • Have knowledge of sales support technologies such as CRM, BI and ERP.
  • Confidence designing for social media posts and ads.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
  • Experience of helping to grow a brand’s presence through social media and/or email marketing.
