Water Treatment

Water treatment comes in a number of forms.

Either it is for conditioning the water contained with your central heating system or the main water supply into your home via a conditioning product or a water softener, we can offer the right product to suit your requirement.

Water softeners

There are two types of water – soft natural water, and hard water.

If you live in a hard water area and experience the affects of limescale, grime around baths basins and sinks, laundry that somehow is not as soft as it should be, and soaps and shampoos that just don’t lather properly. It is of no surprise that people living in hard water areas have to replace washing machines, dishwashers and boilers prematurely.

By having a water softener installed, you can achieve the following benefits: Lower energy bills, Fewer household chores, Reduced carbon footprint, Use less detergent and soaps, Softer feeling hair and skin, Banish tide-marks from sanitaryware.

Heating additives

Chemical water treatment should play an integral part in system protection to help ensure long-term efficiency and trouble-free operation. This is because as soon as water is introduced into a central heating system there is a risk of general corrosion and over time, all central heating systems are subject to the effects of sludge and limescale that form as a result of electrolytic corrosion, if it has not been correctly treated and maintained to an appropriate standard.

Boiler and central heating system efficiency can be maintained long-term simply by ensuring it is cleaned, maintained and protected by the use of effective water treatment.
