Underfloor Heating (UFH) is an ideal solution to heat homes and workplaces as it provides even heat distribution across the whole area. So, you can say goodbye to hotspots, cold draughts and airborne dust and hello to energy saving and extra space. We’ve been working hard with Polypipe, one of the leading names in UFH, to make sure we can bring the right products and advice to you, our customers.
Drakes can boast that, as reward for our recent efforts, we are now approved Specialist Stockists for Polypipe UFH but what does this mean for you?
We now stock more items and hold a larger range than ever before to ensure that we will be able to fulfil your order when required. Due to our improved buying and handling procedures we can offer greater discounts than a lot of other suppliers and will make sure that your quote for the whole supply of items is one of the most competitive around.
But it’s not just price! We also have our new branch champions that have successfully completed a BPEC training course with Polypipe where they were taught all about the range and how it’s to be installed through practical and written examinations. If you have a question about UFH we can not only answer it but can offer ongoing advice along with priority manufacturer approval on your installation plans and heating needs. This means a quicker turnaround for your request that you can rely on being error-free!
We can also connect you with Polypipe so that you can become a Registered Installer. This grants you access to additional privileges, a high level of manufacturer endorsement and benefits worth £1,500!
To find out more about how we can help you just contact your local branch or give our Sales Support Team a call on 01892 559940 and they will ensure you are put through to one of our specialists.
This week Drakes' Chairman, David Aisher, flew down to Polypipe’s now famous regatta and joined over 50 yachts for races around Port Solent.
Along with the Chairman, Drakes brought many a salty sea dog with a crew consisting of customers and staff alike - all enjoying a free day of sailing and fundraising thanks to their favourite independent plumbers' merchant.
Although at the helm of a different boat than he was used to, David fought the changeable conditions and led Drakes to an overall 11th place finish with a 4th place class finish.
After racing, the team joined a prize-giving event back on shore and a prize of another free day's sailing was raffled by Drakes; raising over £2,000 for Help the Heroes.
