Compression fittings are very useful to the plumber, there is no messing around with a blowtorch and compression joints are very strong and if used correctly they will stand the test of time.
Compression joints can be used on copper pipe, plastic pipe or even chrome plated pipe and can easily be used to join any combination of these pipes together.

Push fit fittings are an alternative to solder and compression, no special tools are required to make the joints, although special attention must be paid when cutting the pipe, and the use of a pipe cutter as recommended by the manufacturer should only be used.
Push fit fittings can be used on copper or plastic pipe, but not on chrome plated pipe, as the grip ring can not function on a chrome surface.
For correct installation methods to the brands we stock, please refer to the individual manufacturers installation instructions.

Aluminium ticks all the green boxes from cradle to grave. But it’s only now that architects, specifiers and clients are becoming fully aware of just how sustainable it really is.
For a start, it’s the most abundant metal on Earth. Add to this its infinite recyclability, and you have a material whose supplies are effectively inexhaustible.
